Wool4School Design Competition - England

From over 4,500 registrations, the Wool4School winners will be announced on this date. Running for the first year in England, the Wool4School design competition really took off and provided all teachers and students with access to guiding booklets that cover fibre into yarn production, fabric construction and properties of wool fabrics. Innovation in wool fabric production is a focus and included in the brief to design an outfit for a musician to perform in. There are 3 prizes on offer for students and one for teachers. Next year’s competition will launch in June 2018 and will run until March 2019 and will invite students from England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
